ZIMBABWE LAUNCHES PLAN TO BOOST AGRICULTURE

    President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Wednesday announced plans to achieve an 8.2 billion U.S dollar agriculture industry by 2025. He promises to support farmers to ensure food security, rejig its mining and tourism sector to work Zimbabwe to attain its goal of an upper middle income state by 2030. The Agriculture sector contributes about 15 to 18% of the country's 20 billion U.S dollar GDP, and is a source of income to about 60% of its population.
